Aaron Moses Oglesby, 21, of Nahunta died suddenly Monday evening (November 1, 2010) in Brunswick from injuries sustained from an accident. Born on March 11, 1989 in North Charleston, SC his parents are Billy Dale and Ocie Sandra Keene Oglesby of Nahunta. He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Billy E. Oglesby and Colonel Brantley Keen, Jr. Aaron was a 2007 graduate of Brantley County High School and a 2009 graduate of Nashville Auto-Diesel College. After completing college, he worked for Brantley County Board of Education until he got a job with Travel Centers of America (T&A Trucking) as a Diesel Technician that he enjoyed. He is a member of Hickox Baptist Church and is a beloved son and loving brother. Aaron also enjoyed hunting, fishing and golfing. Survivors include his parents, Billy Dale & Ocie Keen Oglesby of Nahunta; 3 sisters, GSEFN Stacy Oglesby of the U.S. Navy, Amber and Maegan Oglesby both of Nahunta; his Grandmothers, Ruby Oglesby and Evelyn Keen, both of Nahunta also several aunts, uncles and other relatives. Visitation will be held Friday evening (November 5, 2010) starting at 5 P.M. at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta. A funeral service will be held Saturday morning (November 6, 20101) at 11 A.M. at Hickox Baptist Church with Rev. Vance Colley officiating. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery, Hickox. Pallbearers will be Rodney Harris, Jody Harris John Lee, Carol Lee, Anthony Lee, Donald Shuman, Kyle Crews and Daniel Durrance. Serving as honorary pallbearers are James Mullis and Korey White. In lieu of flowers, donation can be sent to Southeast Georgia Cancer Unit, 401 Pendleton St. Waycross, GA 31553 and Bethlehem Cemetery, 347 Lee Cir Nahunta, GA 31553. Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta. Sympathy may be expressed by signing the online registry at www.fryefh.com.
