Dublin-Agnes Lee Hobbs Cox, 82 of Dublin, passed away Wednesday morning (October 24, 2012) at Scotts Health and Rehabilitation Center following an extended illness. Born in Eccles, WV., her parents were Lawrence and Eula Johnson Hobbs. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Charles B. Cox, and several brothers. Agnes was a homemaker, and attended Pinehurst Baptist Church. She loved to play board games and going to church. Survivors include a son, Steven Scott Cox, of East Dublin, GA; 4 daughters and their spouses, Becky (Sam) Davis, of Hortense, Terry (Billy) Smith, of Richmond Hill, Judy (Jeff) Acker, of Dunnellon, FL, and Karen (Johnny) Burroughs, of Bloomingdale, GA; 10 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; 1 sister, Virginia (Toney) Guvetis, of West Palm Beach, FL. Also several nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Visitation will be held Friday evening (October 26, 2012) at 6 PM, at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday afternoon (October 27, 2012) at 3PM at Satilla Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Daniel Harris officiating. Burial will follow in Satilla Cemetery. Pallbearers will be John Ashley Burroughs, Charles Len Davis, Jonathan King, Ryan Acker, Greg Acker, Jordan Cox, and Christopher Griffis. Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
