Nahunta – Alice Annigelene Drury Parrish, 68, of Nahunta passed away Thursday afternoon (January 28, 2021) at her residence after an extended illness.
Born in Brunswick, GA her parents were Lloyd Madison Drury and Edna Alene Rozier Drury. She is also preceded in death by her first husband, Stanley Eugene Parrish, Sr.
Alice was a cosmetologist and attended the First Church of the Nazarene of Brunswick. She loved being outdoors, hunting, fishing, gardening, swinging in her swing, going to the beach, and watching TV.
Survivors include her second husband, Joseph Lewman of Nahunta; 3 children and their spouses, Donna Diane Ronnebeck (Albert Stefan) of Athens, TN, Stanley Eugene Parrish, Jr (Sandra) of Athen, TN and Gregory Scott Parrish, Jr. of Nahunta; 5 grandchildren, Julia Parrish, Betty Parrish, Stanley Eugene Parrish, III, Gregory Scott Parrish, and Kylie Parrish; a daughter-in-law, Angela Wethers of Tifton; specials friends, Richard Woodard, Glynn & Theresa Hartman, Kim Watson, and Shirley Crews; and also several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Due to the COVID-19, we would like to ask all to please follow the rules for social distancing and face mask are highly recommended at the service. Also, anyone who does not feel comfortable with attending the services the family would like for you to know they understand and covet your prayers.
A graveside service will be held Sunday afternoon (January 31, 2021) at 2PM at Horsestamp Cemetery with Rev. Randy Wainright officiating. Visitation will be held 30 minutes prior to the service on Sunday (January 31, 2021) starting at 1:30pm at Horsestamp Cemetery.
Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
