Alneta Harris Wilson

Nahunta – Alneta Harris Wilson, 87, of Nahunta passed away early Sunday morning (June 21, 2020) at Hospice of the Golden Isles in Brunswick after an extended illness.

Born in Screven, GA her parents were Richard Russell Harris and Mary Ted Tuten Sapp. She is also preceded in death by her daughter, Betty Sue Howard; a brother and sister-in-law, Harvey & Francis Harris; and a sister, Jackie Harris Nelson.

Alneta was a homemaker and attended Southside Baptist Church. She was a hard worker who loved spoiling her grandchildren, gardening, working in her flowers and traveling.

Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Cullas Myres Wilson of Nahunta; 2 sons, Richard McKee Hall of Perdido Beach, AL and Al Hall of Berry, AL; 8 grandchildren, Kim & Stacy Frazier, Rick & Casey Hall, Brad & Amy Hall, Carly & Tripp Haas, Dylan Davis, Erine Bennett Pritchard, Dana & Brian Sowell and B.J. & Tracy Hall; 11 great grandchildren; a brother-in-law, Ronnie Nelson of Baxley, GA; and also several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Due to the COVID-19, the family would like to ask all to please follow the rules for social distancing at the service. Also, anyone who does not feel comfortable with attending the services the Family would like for you to know they understand and covet your prayers.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday morning (June 23, 2020) at 11am at Oak Grove Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Johns officiating.
