Waycross - Anna Kristina Howell Carter, 49, of Waycross died late Friday evening (June 5, 2015) at the Hospice House in Waycross after an extended illness. Born in Denison, TX her parents are Jack and Rita Kjell Howell of Waycross. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Herbert and Anna Kjell; her paternal grandparents, Ernie and Sarah Howell; 2 nephews, Joshua James Moody and James Major Moody; and a niece, Sarah Makenzie Moody. Anna was a caregiver for many years. Survivors include her husband, Edward Alan Carter of Waycross; her daughter and son-in-law, Erica Thomas King (Timmy) of Waycross; a son, Dylan Thomas (Fiancé Heather O'Berry) of Waycross; 2 grandchildren, Eli King and Laynee King both of Waycross; her parents Jack and Rita Howell of Waycross; 2 sisters and brothers-in-law, Terri Howell Moody(James) of Hickox and Patsy Howell Eads (Josh) of Richmond Hill; a niece, Taylor Moody of Hickox; 2 nephews Bryce Eads and Grant Eads both to Richmond Hill; and also several aunts, uncles and other relatives. Visitation will be held Sunday afternoon (June 7, 2015) from 2-3PM at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church. A funeral service will be held Sunday afternoon (June 7, 2015) at 3PM at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church with Rev. Chris Roberts officiating. A private burial will be in Thomas Cemetery, Waycross. Pallbearers will be Timmy King, James Moody, Josh Eads, Dusty Carter, Jimmy Lynn, and Ralph Mercer. Pallbearers are asked to be at the church by 2:30PM Sunday.
