Hoboken- Annie "Ann" Gertrude Crews Rivas, 51, of Hoboken died Thursday afternoon (June 25, 2015) at Southeast Georgia Health System in Brunswick after an extended illness. Born in Blackshear, GA., her parents were James Crews and Katherine Smith Crews Johns. She was also preceded in death by her stepfather, Jesse Johns. She was a homemaker, attended The Potters Field Church, and loved spending time with her family. She especially enjoyed spending time and playing with Babies. Survivors include her husband, Juan Rivas, of Blackshear; a son, Eric Walter Parker, of Waynesville, 2 grandchildren, Joshua Parker, and Natalie Parker; 2 brothers and sisters-in-law, James Walter Crews (Patricia), of Euless TX, and Leon Johns (Marie), of Waycross; special family and caregivers, Charles and Libby Hagen, and Nora Westberry. Also several nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Visitation will be held Sunday evening (June 28, 2015) from 6PM-8PM, at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta. A Funeral Service will be held Monday morning (June 29, 2015) at 11AM at Frye Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Mathis, Sr. officiating.Burial will follow in High Bluff Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Javier Galvan, Jesus Galvan, Ricky Crews, Harold Driggers, John Alford, and Justin Harris. Family and pallbearers are asked to meet at the Funeral Home Monday by 10:30AM.
