Nahunta-Mrs. Annie Grace Williams May, 65, of Nahunta died early Sunday morning (November 6, 2011) At the Morris Center in Jacksonville, Fl. after an extended illness. Born in Nahunta, GA., her parents were Willie & Lizzie Lee Knox Williams. She is also preceded in death by her brother, Billy Williams. Annie was a retired bus driver trainer for Camden Co. School and a member of the Lulaton Baptist Church. She loved cooking, canning, playing cards, doing gardening work and entertaining her family. Survivors include her husband, Donnie W. May of Nahunta; 2 sons & their spouses, Gary W. & Sissy May of Odum, GA., Ashley & Leslie May of Chattanooga, TN; 3 daughters & their spouses, Marion & Alan Strickland, Denise & Randy Rowell, Missy & Robbie Cleland, all of Nahunta; 10 grandchildren, Brandon, Jamie, & Erica Rowell, Hunter & Byron Strickland, Blake Cleland, Grant, Ella, & Cort May, and Charli May; 2 brothers and their spouses, James & Joyce Williams of Kingston, AL, Tim & Loredda Williams of Panacea, FL; 4 sisters and their spouses, Joann & Gene Grace and Pearl Weeks both of Opp, AL, Pat Crews of Boulogne, FL., Sue Haney of Woodbine, GA.; and also several nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Visitation will be held Monday evening (November 7, 2011) starting at 6 PM at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta. A funeral service will be held Tuesday morning (November 8, 2011) at 11 AM at Lulaton Baptist Church with Rev. Monroe Gill, Rev. Gene Knox, & Rev. Charles Barwick officiating. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery, Nahunta, GA. Pallbearers will be Jerome Williams, Tony Sheppard, Brandon Rowell, Hunter Strickland, Byron Strickland, Benji Crosby, & Bubba Mercier.
