Annie Hickox Walker

Mrs. Annie Hickox Walker ,87, of Opelika, Alabama passed away on July 17,2009, in Opelika, AL. Mrs. Walker was born December 14, 1921 in Hickox, GA to the late Frank and Hattie Ammons Hickox. She was a member of Opelika First Baptist Church which she joined in March of 1951. Survivors include her husband, Clyde Walker; three sons, Clyde Eustis, Edgar Lavelle & Thomas Lamar Walker; three daughters, Patricia Walker Dudley, Magenia Walker Janney and Anna Walker Rhoden; eleven grandchildren, Todd Walker, Jeff Walker, Dick Dudley, Cassie Graham, Kip Walker, Kris Walker, Kurt Walker, Jennifer Howard , Amy Harris, Jenna Walker and Jeremy Walker; seven great grandchildren; also several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation for Mrs. Walker will be from 6-8pm Monday (July 20, 2009) at Frye Funeral Home in Nahunta and one hour prior to the service at Hickox Baptist Church. Funeral services will be Tuesday morning (July 21, 2009) at 11:00am at Hickox Baptist Church with Rev. Ray McMillan and Dr. W. Derrell Rentz officiating. Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery, Hickox, GA In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Arthritis Foundation or New Hope Cemetery c/o Linda Lee 4142 Caney Bay Rd. Nahunta, GA 31553.
