Waycross-Mrs. Barbara Ann Chancey Harbison, 62, of Waycross died early Friday morning ( December 02, 2011) at Hospice House in Waycross after a sudden illness. Born in Savannah, GA she is the daughter of the late Ellis Chancey & Carolyn Rhoden Chancey Adamczyk of Nahunta. She was a homemaker and of the Church of God faith. She also loved to bake and decorate. Survivors include her loving husband, James "Jim" Harbison of Waycross; 3 sons and their spouses, Kevin & Amy Lyons, and Bradley & Kellye Lyons both of Raybon, Troy Harbison of Colorado; 1 daughter & a son-in-law, Tracy & Pat Gray of Winston Salem, N.C.; 7 Grandchildren, Dustin Lyons, Joshua Lyons both of Raybon, Brigette & Charles Norman of Spring Creek, Nevada, Brianna Gray, Sarah Gray, Jeffery Gray, & Rudy Gray all of Winston Salem, N. C.; 2 Great grandchildren, Meia Lyons & Kleo Norman; her mother Carolyn Rhoden Chancey Adamczyk of Nahunta; 3 Brothers & their spouses, Charles E. & Mindy Chancey, Sr. of Glen St. Marys, FL , Gary Chancey of Panama, & Ricky & Sandra Chancey of Beckley, W. V.; and her loving companion, pride & joy her pet Tina Marie; also several nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Visitation will be held on Saturday evening (December 3, 2011) starting at 6 PM-until at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta. A funeral service will be held Sunday afternoon (December 4, 2011) at 2 PM at the Frye Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Florey, Rev. Jimmy R. Mathis, Sr. & Charles E. Chancey, Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery, Hickox. Pallbearers will be Phil Vernon, Terry Willis, Charles Chancey, Jr., Jimmy Mathis, Jr., David Ferrell and Josh Lyons.
