Hoboken- Beatrice Mary Dryden Lewis, 74, of Hoboken died Thursday evening (June 6, 2013) at Mayo Clinic Health System in Waycross after an extended illness. Born in Hoboken, GA her parents were Nathan and Tishie Melton Dryden. She is also preceded in death by her husband Isaiah Hodges Lewis; 3 Sons, Ray Lewis, David Lewis & Kenny Lewis; a daughter, Janice Greene; 2 grandsons, Bobby Joe Curl and Michael Curl; 2 sisters, Aleine Todd and Deloris Waldron; and 2 brothers, Cecil Dryden and Elvie Dryden. Beatrice was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She loved working in her flowers and cooking. Survivors include 3 Sons and Daughters-in-law, Eddie & Diane Lewis of Hoboken, Charles & Deanna Lewis of Blackshear and Tony & Sherri Lewis of Hoboken; a Daughter and Son-in-law, Faye & Gregg Thrift of Hoboken; 13 grandchildren & their spouses, Wayne & Caristy Lewis of Nahunta, Marie & Troy Hickox of Hortense, David Lewis of Hoboken, Jesse Lewis of Douglas, Christopher Lewis of Florida, Jason Lewis of Waycross, James Lewis of Valdosta, Katie Lewis of Blackshear, Clay Anderson, Tiffany Anderson, Anthony Lewis and Emily Lewis all of Hoboken and Terry & Sylvia Curl of Blackshear; 10 Great grandchildren, Dustin and Blake Lewis of Nahunta, Deziree & Dalton Hickox of Hortense, Tamara, Andelaysia and Cassidy Lewis all of Hinesville, Neveah Slaughter of Waynesville, Leland and Lydia Anderson of Nahunta; a Sister, Evon Carter of Waycross; a Brother & Sister-in-law, Lonnie & Bobbie Dryden of Waycross; and also several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation will be held Sunday evening (June 9, 2013) starting at 6PM at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta. A funeral service will be held Monday afternoon (June 10, 2013) at 2PM at the Chapel of Frye Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie Wildes, Rev. Randy Wainright and Rev. Dennis Hickox officiating. Burial will follow in HighBluff Cemetery, Hoboken. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Wayne Lewis, David Lewis, Christopher Lewis, James Lewis, Clay Anderson and Anthony Lewis.
