Belinda Leona Whitlow

Belinda Leona Lynn Whitlow, 53, of Hortense passed away Sunday afternoon, February 2, 2025, at Southeast Georgia Health System in Brunswick after an extended illness. She was born in Brunswick to John Lavelle Lynn, Sr. and Leona Kersey Lynn and lived in Hortense all of her life. Ms. Whitlow was an active person, always doing things with her hands. She enjoyed painting, tending to her plants and roses and when she slowed down she enjoyed doing puzzles. Some of her favorite animals were horses, birds, and Oscars.

 She was preceded in death by her parents, John Lavelle Lynn, Sr. and Leona Kersey Lynn.

 Survivors include two daughters, Harley Manning of Hortense and Amber Rae Whitlow of Hortense; two grandchildren, Delman Lynn and Nevaeh Whitlow; one brother, John Lavelle Lynn (Ina) of Hortense; two sisters, Velvet Lee Fones (Troy) of Hortense, and Pamela Strickland (Jonathan) of Hortense; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

 A memorial service will be held at a later date.

 Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
