Betty Drury Rogers

Betty Drury Rogers, 84 of Brunswick, passed away Monday night (January 29, 2018) at Hospice of Golden Isles in Brunswick, GA., following an extended illness.

Born in Winokur, GA., her parents were Avon M. Drury and Maxine Florence Wainright. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Gene Paul Rogers; her son, Robert Jackson Southwell; and her brother, Charles Wesley Drury.

Betty worked many years in Sales at K-Mart, and was a member of Emanuel United Methodist Church. She enjoyed planting flowers, traveling, and keeping house.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia Kelley (Keith), of Woodbine; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. Also many other relatives and friends.

A private memorial will be held at a later date.
