Betty Lou Williams Parker, 65 of Nahunta, Ga died early Friday morning at her residence following a lengthy illness. Born in Fernandina, FL, her parents were Rufus and Lilly Mae Conwell Williams. She is also preceded in death by a brother, Larry Williams. She worked as a Cashier in a Convenience Store and loved playing with animals. She attended Mt. Zion Christian Church. She is survived by her husband, Garland "Junior " Parker, Jr. of Nahunta; 5 Children, Leslie Wyckoff and Edward Whorton of Fernandina Beach, FL, Marty Whorton of Popwellville, Eugene Whorton of Idaho and Cheryl Whorton of Gadsen, AL; 8 Grandchildren, Joey Wyckoff, Allen Whorton, Richard Whorton, Dallas Whorton, Jessie Whorton, Chris Whorton and Olivia Wyckoff all of Fernandina, and Brandon Whorton of Gadsen, AL; 4 Sisters and brother -in-law, Matty and Carl McCormick, Lou Douberly of Yulee, FL; Brenda Sue Williams and Gracy Lane of Fernandina; 4 Brothers and Sisters-in-law, Olvin and Bonnie Williams of Fernandina, Wayne and Janice Williams of Yulee, David Ray and Tina Williams, and James and Carol Williams of Fernandina; also, several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
