Bonnitta "Bonnie" Althea Johnson

Brunswick – Bonnitta “Bonnie” Althea Sharpe Johnson, 58, of Brunswick passed away Sunday evening (September 4, 2022) at Southeast Georgia Health System in Brunswick after an extended illness.

Born in Waycross, GA her parents were Donald Sharpe and Carol Morgan Sharpe. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Andy Johnson.

Bonnie was a homemaker and always the life of the party. She loved dancing, listening to music, making jewelry, doing puzzles and watching wrestling.

Survivors include her brother and sister-in-law, Peter & Kim Sharpe of Brunswick; niece and her spouse, Leitha & Alex Jordan of Brunswick; great niece, Elizabeth Jordan of Brunswick; a great nephew, Christopher Jordan of Brunswick; stepfather, Grady Leggett of Brunswick; her little brothers, Mike Dinsbeer and Mark Dinsbeer both of Brunswick; and also several other relatives and a host of friends.

Visitation will be held Wednesday evening (September 7, 2022) from 6-8pm at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.

A graveside service will be held Thursday morning (September 8, 2022) at 10am at Foster Cemetery with Rev. Ronnie Sharpe officiating.
