Brenda Gail Thomas

Waycross- Brenda Gail Thomas, 50, of Waycross died Tuesday evening (July 3, 2012) at her residence after a brief illness. Born in Waycross, GA her parents were Ervin Jule Thomas & Nellie Faye Steadley Thomas Knight. She is also preceded in death by her stepfather, Benny Knight; 2 sisters, Loucille Godwin and Inez White;2 brothers, Marshell Thomas and Talmadge Thomas; and a nephew Jeffrey Scott Walker. Brenda was a homemaker who loved to listen to music, dance and loved spending time with her grandbabies. Survivors include 2 daughters, Tiffany Lynn McMillan of Waynesville and Tina Marie McMillan (Fiancé Christopher Taylor) of Waycross; 6 grandchildren, Tyler Devin, Dylan Hunter, William Ian Michael, Peyton Elizabeth, Katelin Shaliece Lynn and Bentley True Douglas McMillan; 5 sisters and brothers-in-law, Gerladine & Billy James of Manor, Lavene & David Sweat of Blackshear, Debbie Thomas of Manor, Nita Sweat of Manor and Linda & Kim Wolfe of Waycross; a brother, Raymond Thomas of Millwood; a sister-in-law, Connie Thomas of Millwood; and also several nieces, nephews and other relatives. A memorial service will be held Sunday (July 8, 2012) at 3PM at New Life Assembly of God with Bro. Randy Rosenbalm officiating. Memorialization will be by cremation. Arrangements were with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to go toward funeral expenses. Sympathy may be expressed by signing the online registry at www.fryefh.com.
