Buddy Joseph Thomas

Folkston-Buddy Joseph "Joey" Thomas, 44 of Folkston, passed away Monday morning (October 15, 2012) in Folkston following a brief illness. Born in Brunswick, GA. His parents were Eddie Lamar and Patricia Lorie Hope Thomas. He was easy to please and very pleasant and loved being around family, Joey loved the simple things in life, hot dogs, his shoes and shirts. He also loved going to Church of God services. Survivors include 2 sisters and brothers-in-law, Rita and Richard Daniels, of Waynesville, Marie and George Brandon, of Sebastian, FL;2 brothers, James Edward Thomas, of Savannah, and Christopher Roy Thomas, of Brunswick. Also several nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Visitation will be held Friday (October 19, 2012) from 11AM-1PM, at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta. A Funeral Service will be held Friday (October 19, 2012) at 1PM, at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta with Rev. Tommy Gill officiating. Burial will follow in Daniels Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Josh Daniels, Tyler Daniels, Timothy Daniels, Michael Daniels, Paul Hall, and Travis Thomas. Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
