Carl 'Buddy' Dennis Dixon

Waynesville-Mr. Carl "Buddy" Dennis Dixon, Sr., 66 of the Atkinson Community died Friday evening (Nov.6,2015) at his residence after an extended illness. Born in Waycross, Georgia his parents were Carl James Dixon and Evelyn Driggers Dixon. Mr. Buddy was a Dry Wall Hanger for many years and before illness he had worked with Golden Isles Drywall. He loved hunting and fishing and enjoyed being around family and loved children. He had attended The Atkinson Church of God of Prophecy . He served in The U. S. Navy. Survived by his 4-sons , Carl D. Dixon, Jr., of Blackshear, Matthew Scott Dixon, of Brunswick, Aaron Christopher Dixon and his Fiancé, Stephanie Miller, and Ryan Edward Dixon, all of The Atkinson Community, A sister, Janice Steedly, of Atlanta, also several Nieces, Nephews and other relatives.
