Carl J. Little

Hortense- Mr. Carl J. "CJ" Little, 73, died Friday afternoon (May 11, 2012)in the Mayo Clinic Health System in Waycross after an extended illness. Born in Jesup, GA. He was the son of Dalton E. and Mable Barnard Little and was also preceded in death by a great-grandson, Dalton Lamar Miller. Mr. Little was a member of The Little Memorial Church and also was a farmer. He is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Clara Willis Little, of Hortense, a son, Carl "Buddy" Little, of Raybon, 5-daughters and sons-in-law, Darlene and Beryl Sweat, of Hortense, Judy and Ben Hembree, of Tenn., Tina and Randy Flowers, of Hortense, Carlene and James Cross, Marlene and Chuck Scott, all of Waynesville, 4-step-sons and their wives, Randy and Sherry Rowell, Eddie and Tina Corbitt, all of Lulaton, Tony and Rhonda Corbitt, of Raybon and Chuck and Crystal Billingsley, of Dillard, GA., 9-Grandchildren, 14-Great-Grandchildren,2-Brothers and sisters-in-law, Jimmy and Charlsie Little, of Albany, GA., and Lamar and Ione Little, of Vidalia, GA.,a Sister, Janice Kelly, of Waynesville, also several Nieces, Nephews and other relatives. Visitation will be held Sunday afternoon (May 13, 2012) from 3-4 P.M. at The Little Memorial Church. Funeral services for Mr. Carl will be held at 4 P.M. Sunday (May 13, 2012) from The Little Memorial Church with Rev. Keith Brown and Rev. Hilton Morgan officiating. Pallbearers will be Floyd Holt, Charles Churchill, Joey Thornton, Leslie Patton, Chuck Billingsley and Gene Drawdy. Interment will follow in The Little Cemetery.
