Carl Richard Harris

Nahunta-Carl Richard Harris, 63, of Nahunta died Friday (January 3, 2014) from injuries received in a house fire at his residence. Born in Hoboken, Georgia. his parents were Brantley and Susie Jane Crews Harris. He is also preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas Lee Harris and Jim Bo Harris. Carl was a logger with L&L Logging for many years before retiring and was a member of The Potters Field Church in Nahunta. He loved fishing and being outdoors. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Teresa Harris, of Hoboken, A Daughter and son-in-law, Becky and Kenneth Turner, of Blackshear, 3 Grandchildren, Ashley, Justin, and Courtney Harris, 1 Great Granddaughter, Jaelyn Harris, A Sister and brother-in-law, Lavonne and Joel Racente, of Connecticut. Also several nieces, nephews, and other relatives. A graveside service will be held Thursday afternoon (January 9, 2014) at 2:00 P.M. in The New Hope Cemetery in Hickox, Georgia, with Rev.
