Carolyn Curry O'Berry

Folkston – Carolyn Curry O’Berry, 67, of Folkston passed away Tuesday morning (July 14, 2020) at Southeast Georgia Health System Camden campus after a brief illness.

Born in Waynesville, GA her parents were John Lemuel Curry and Nancy Jean Risher. She is also preceded in death by her brother, Samuel John Curry and a brother-in-law, Richard O'Berry.

Carolyn was an RN for many years and loved her bloodhound, Eli and her cats. She also enjoyed sewing, quilting, gardening and fishing.

Survivors include her husband, Larry O’Berry of Folkston; a son and daughter-in-law, Darrell & Maria Curry of Cochran; 4 grandchildren, Aaron & Carrie Curry, Haley Curry, Katie Curry and Joseph Curry; 2 great grandchildren, Talynn Curry and Everly Curry; a sister and brother-in-law, Martha & Bobby Allreadge of Nahunta; a brother-in-law, David O'Berry of Folkston; a sister and brother-in-law, Brenda & William Johns of Waynesville; and also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

Due to the COVID-19, the family would like to ask all to please follow the rules for social distancing and face mask are recommended at the service. Also, anyone who does not feel comfortable with attending the services the Family would like for you to know they understand and covet your prayers.

A memorial service will be held Friday morning (July 17, 2020) at 11am at the chapel of Frye Funeral Home.
