Carolyn Faye Miller Baxley

Nahunta - Carolyn Faye Miller Baxley, 64, of Nahunta died Saturday afternoon (February 7, 2015) at the Hospice House in Waycross after an extended illness. Born in Ridgeland, SC her parents were Herbert Harold and Lucy Eudell Dorsey Miller. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Willie Larry Baxley; 2 sisters, Evonne "Pup" Miller and Rita Mae Embery; and also 2 brothers. Carolyn was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She loved taking care of her grandchildren, going to yard sales, fishing and being in the garden. Survivors include her 5 daughters, Tammy Hamlett of Iowa, Angie Wilson, Dana Wilson, Tracy Wilson and Cheyenne Baxley all of Nahunta; 9 grandchildren, Clint Johns, Jessica Johns, Jason Johns, Nicole Wilson, Ryan Miller, Tyler Asbell, Ashley Asbell, Ciera Wilson and Kaleena Wilson; many great grandchildren; the father of her children and best friend, Willie Wilson; nieces and nephews, Billy Embery, Lisa Embery, Benji Embery and Neal Gay; and also several other nieces, nephews and other relatives. A memorial service and dinner will be held Thursday (February 12, 2015) at 5PM at The Masonic Lodge in Nahunta. Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
