Cathy Ann Mccollum

Brunswick-Mrs. Cathy Ann Kern McCullum,50, of Brunswick died early Wednesday morning (Mar. 25,2015) at her residence after a brief illness. Born in Brunswick, Georgia her parents were the late Emory Drawdy and Eula Faye Lyons Kern Kyser, of Hortense. Cathy was preceded by her father and her adopted Father Jack B. Kern. She attended The Norwich Baptist Church in Brunswick, she loved the outdoors especially the beach where she loved swimming. Her grandchildren were her heart and she loved spending time with them. Survived by her loving husband of 7 years Kenny McCollum, of Brunswick, 2-sons, Kalab McCollum, of Milwaukee, Wi. and Christopher Scott Hilliard, of Brunswick, a daughter, Christy Lynn Tucker, of Brunswick, 5-Grandchildren, her Mother,2-brothers and sisters-in-law, David and Glenda Kern, of Brunswick, Donald and Carol Kern, of Guyton, Georgia, a half brother, Emory Drawdy, Jr., 4-half sisters, Angie Holden, Michelle Maggart, Kerrie "Tootsie" Drawdy and Melissa Drawdy, also several Nieces, Nephews and other relatives. A Memorial service will be held Saturday,( Mar. 28,2015) at 1:30 P.M. at The Atkinson Church of God of Prophecy with Bishop Raymond Willis officiating.
