Cecilia Ellen Grosso Wingate

Cecilia Ellen Grosso Wingate, 75, of Waycross died Friday afternoon (March 26, 2010) at St. Vincent's Hospital in Jacksonville, FL after an extended illness. Born in Jackson Valley, N.J. her parents were David B. & Bertha Ellen Newman Grosso. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Harry A. Wingate and a brother David Grosso. Cecilia was a homemaker and was of the Catholic faith. She is survived by her 4 children and their spouses, Cecilia Louisa & John Young of Leesburg, GA, Lorraine Ann Villa of Jacksonville, FL, Harry Alexander Wingate,of Waynesville and Michael Kevin & Toni Wingate of Hortense; 9 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren on the way; and also several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation will be held Monday (March 29, 2010) starting at 12 noon at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta. A graveside service will be held Monday (March 29, 2010) at 2 P.M. at Wingate Way Cemetery in Atkinson with Chaplain Pat McCord officiating.
