Charles E. Hall

Thalmann- Charles Edward "Ed" Hall, Sr., 55 of Thalmann, GA passed away Monday afternoon (October 28, 2013) at his sister's residence in Sardis following an extended illness. Born in Orange Park, FL. his parents were Thomas James and Laverne Wise Hall. Ed worked as a Forklift Operator for Atlantic Wood Industries. He was of the Baptist Faith, and enjoyed gardening and hunting. Also he loved the country life. Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Charles E. Hall, Jr. and Jill, of Hortense; a grandchild, Johnathan Luke Hall, of Hortense; a brother and sister-in-law, Thomas J. Hall,Jr. (Gloria), of Hortense; 2 sisters and brothers-in-law, Tommie "Ruth" Patten (Leslie), of Hortense, Wanda Gail Allen (Bobby Ray), of Sardis. Also several nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Visitation will be held Wednesday evening (October 30, 2013) starting at 6PM at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta. A Funeral Service will be held Thursday afternoon (October 31, 2013) at 3PM at Frye Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Leon Wilson officiating. Pallbearers will be Charles "Ed" Hall, Jr., Luke Hall, Bobby Ray Allen, Tommy Hall, Jr., Thomas Hall, III, and Terry Sturkey. Honorary pallbearers will be Logan Smith and Aubrey Smith.
