Charles Earl Heard

Hoboken – Charles Earl Heard, 82, of Hoboken passed away Tuesday morning (January 11, 2022) at his residence after an extended illness.
Born in Bainbridge, GA. his parents were Edward Earl Heard and Lillian Cloud Heard. He is also preceded in death by his 1st wife, Elizabeth Ann Voss Heard; brother, Terry Heard; and a sister, Linda Peterman.
Charles was retired from the Marine Base in Albany and worked in equipment maintenance. He was of the Christian faith. He loved anything mechanical, fixing things, going to the antique stores and most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Carole Elaine Heard of Hoboken; 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth Ray Heard (Allyson) of Dublin and Jeffery Allen Heard (Kristin) of Woodstock; 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Ann-Marie Arnold (Brian) of Cumming and Carrie Alicia Lee (Carroll) of Hickox; 11 grandchildren, Harrison Peet-Arnold, Elizabeth Ann Heard, Cole Jeffery Heard, Kathryn Marshall Heard, Karson Nicole Clements, Aiden Cooper Heard, Kelsy Denae Clements, Nolan Cross Heard, Gabriel Elias Arnold, Elijah Cloud Arnold, and Kloey ‘Laine Clements; 1 brother and sister-in-law, Eddie Dean Heard (Donna) of Mullberry Grove, IL.; 1 sister and brother-in-law, Martha Morrison (Fred) of Crystal River, FL.; also several nieces, nephews, and other relatives and a host of friends.
A private graveside service will be held at Mt. Calvary Church cemetery.
