Charles Michael Davis

Charles "Charlie" Michael Davis, 60, of Nahunta, GA died at his daughter's residents (December 11, 2009) in Conyers, GA after a battle with lung cancer. Born in Viroqua, WI his parents were Wayne Leroy & Julie Herrin Davis. He is also preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth and Jerry Davis. He was a heavy equipment operator and Bricklayer."Charlie" loved working on old cars and trucks. And was a member of Riverside Chapel Baptist Church in Hickox. He is survived 4 daughters and sons-in-law, Tracy & Greg Stone and Regina Davis both from Conyers, Amy & Danny Carter and Tasha & Mark Jenkins both of Covington, GA; 10 grandchildren; 2 sisters and brothers-in-law, Marian & Billy Allen and Cheryl & Clinton Davis both of Nahunta; 2 aunts, Janie & Edward Brand and Aletha Mae White both of Hickox; a uncle, Alfred Herrin on Houston, TX; also several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation will be held Friday evening (December 18, 2009) starting at 6pm at Riverside Chapel Baptist Church in Hickox. A memorial service will be held Saturday afternoon (December 19, 2009) starting at 3pm at the church with Rev. Randy Wainright and Rev. Reggie Herrin officiating. Memorialization will be by cremation.
