Waycross – Charles “Randy” Randall Johns, 41, of Waycross passed away Monday morning (January 4, 2016) at his residence after an extended illness.
Born in Waukegan, IL his parents are Hugh Walter Johns of Jacksonville and Maggie Corley Howard of Waycross.
Randy was a forklift driver for Scott Built, and worked many years for Waycross Paving, and attended Remnant Church of God. He loved spending time with his children, watching NASCAR, and watching college football.
Survivors include his wife, Michelle Johns of Waycross; his twin children, Blake Matthew Johns and Hannah Elizabeth Johns of Waycross; the mother of the twins, Gena Johns of Waycross; 2-step-sons, Justin Keith Gwaltney and Alex Nathaniel Gwaltney both of Jacksonville, FL; ; his father, Hugh “Huey” Johns (Sharon) of Jacksonville, FL; his mother, Maggie C. Howard of Waycross; 3 brothers, Justin Johns and Benji Howard both of Waycross and Lee Badcock of Hoboken; 3 sisters and brothers-in-law, Amy Yawn of Hoboken, Hollye Howard Drury(Brian) of Blackshear, and Brandy Howard King(Michael)of Homerville; 2 nieces, Taylor Drury and Briley Drury; 1 step brother, Gary Holmes, step-dad, Ricky Howard, of Waycross and also several cousins, aunts, uncles, and other relatives.
Visitation will be held Thursday evening (January 7, 2016) starting at 6PM at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
A funeral service will be held Friday morning (January 8, 2016) at 11AM at the Chapel of Frye Funeral Home with Rev. Caleb Lancaster and Bro. David Herrin officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Tony Harrellson, Tony Worley, Cecil Eunice, Gary Holmes, Lee Badcock, and Shane Farmer.
Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
