Charles Scott

Charles Scott, 77 of Waynesville, passed away Thursday (October 29, 2015) at his residence following an extended illness. Born in Melbourne, FL., his parents were Garland B. Scott and Leona A. Ramsey Scott. Charles served in the United States Navy and worked many years in maintenance at FLETC. He loved fishing, airplanes, racing, and building race engines. Survivors include his wife, Marlene Scott, of Waynesville; a son and daughter-in-law, Dean Scott (Laurie); two daughters and sons-in-law, Tracey Dupont (David), of Jacksonville, Angela Williamson (Kevin); three grandchildren, Zachery Williamson, Cole Scott, and Emily Scott; a brother, Kenneth Scott (Joy), of Jacksonville.
