Charles Timothy Watts

Hortense – Charles Timothy Watts, 58, of Hortense passed away suddenly Wednesday morning (February 20, 2019) at Memorial Satilla Health in Waycross.

Born at Sculthorpe AFB in Norfolk, England he was preceded by his parents, James Donald Watts, Sr. and Ruby Nell Neal Watts. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Baker of Hortense, GA.

Charles was a lumber yard manager at Hoboken Building Supply in Hoboken, GA and a member of Sovereign Grace Baptist Church in Hortense, GA. He enjoyed woodworking and construction projects, took pride in renovating and maintaining his home, and enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandson.

Charles is survived by his wife of 40 years, Brenda Watts of Hortense, GA; 3 daughters and sons-in-law, Christina & Richard McLamb of Acworth, GA, Jennifer Watts of Acworth, GA, and Sarah & Matthew O’Neal of Hortense, GA; a grandson, Vincent Zumbaugh of Acworth, GA; a brother, James Watts, Jr. of Vanceburg, KY; 3 sisters and brothers-in-law, Donna & Chuck Earvin of Brunswick, GA, Debra & Doug Cameron of Lacey’s Spring, AL, and Lynn & Larry Waack of Chapman, KS. He is survived by several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Visitation will be held Friday evening (February 22, 2019) from 6PM – 8PM at Sovereign Grace Baptist Church in Hortense, GA.

A graveside service will follow on Saturday morning (February 23, 2019) at 11am at Sovereign Grace Baptist Church Cemetery with Bro. Barry Smith officiating.

Arrangements have been made with Frye Funeral Home in Nahunta, GA.
