Christa Lauren Crews

Nahunta – Christa Lauren Crews, 48, of Nahunta passed away Thursday afternoon (March 23, 2023) at her residence after a brief illness.

Born in Jesup, GA her parents are Marlene Hickox and the late Mikel Vornie Crews. She is also preceded in death by her sister, Natalie B. Crews; her maternal grandparents, Barney Hickox and Alene Hayes Hickox; and her paternal grandparents, Vornie Crews and Beatrice Morgan  Crews.

Christa was a waitress for many years and loved spending time with her kids and family. She also enjoyed baking and crafting.

Survivors include her 5 sons and a daughter-in-law, Tyler Harris of Hoboken, Trevor Davis of Waycross, Taylor Davis (Abigail) of Anchorage, Alaska, Matthew Milton of Waycross and Tristan Milton of Blackshear; her mother, Marlene Hickox of Blackshear; 2 brothers, Curtis Mikel Crews and Rodney Alan Crews both of Raybon; and also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

Visitation will be held thirty minutes prior to the service on Monday afternoon (March 27, 2023) starting at 3:30pm at Rob Lewis Cemetery.

A graveside service will be held Monday afternoon (March 27, 2023) at 4pm at Rob Lewis Cemetery with Rev. Paul Rhoden officiating.

Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
