Christian Cunningham

Hortense-Christian Slade Cunningham, 23, of Hortense passed away suddenly Tuesday (February 21, 2017) at his residence in Pennsylvania.

Born in Waycross, Ga. His parents are Richard Lewis Cunningham and Donna Jean Denison. He is preceded in death by his Paternal Grandmother, Barbara Huggins.

Christian was a member of the Twin Rivers Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing, and working out. He was a Graphic Designer and was employed by Airborne Promotions of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania.

Survivors include his father, Richard Lewis Cunningham, of St. Mary’s, Ga.; his mother , Donna Denison, of Hortense, Ga.; Maternal grandmother, Betty Moody, Blackshear, maternal grandparents, Thomas and Betty Denison, Camden Co.; his fiancé, Lexi Wall and her mother, Kelli Wall, both of Pittsburg, Pa.; 3 brothers, Hayden Strohl, of Brunswick, Douglas Cunningham and Stephen Cunningham both of Camden Co.; 5 sisters, and a brother-in-law, Keri Denison, Brunswick, Jessica Robles (Cody) Hortense; Maddie Strohl and Ruthie Strohl, both of Hortense, and Emma Cunningham of Camden Co. Also several other relatives and a host of friends.

Visitation will be held Sunday afternoon (February 26, 2017) from 4:00PM-6:00PM at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.

A funeral service will be held Monday afternoon (February 27, 2017) at 1:00 PM at Satilla Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Donnie Durrance and Rev. Loren Bryant officiating.

Burial will follow in Satilla Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Dylan Denison, Tyler Espsito, Jeremy King, Taylor Brock, Caleb King, and Ollie Harris.

Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
