Cindy Raquel Johnson

Jesup – Cindy Raquel Johnson, 50, of Jesup passed away Friday morning (March 26, 2021) at her residence after an extended illness.

Born in Casa Grande, AZ her parents are Cheryl Diane West Crain of TX and the late Jimmy Ray Johnson.

Cindy was a homemaker who loved spending time with her family and going to the beach.

Survivors include 3 Daughters, Christina Johnson and Janice Carter(Savannah Hickox) all of Jesup and Cheynne Hays of FL; a son, Marcus Kent Johnson of Jesup; 2 grandchildren, Ashton Johns and Gracey Leverett; mother and stepfather, Cheryl Diane Crain (Bob) of TX; brother, Montana Johnson of TX; a sister and brother-in-law, Shelly Sharon(Kerry) of TX; best friend, Tom Lavender of Jesup; her 2 pet dogs, Precious and Blessing; and also several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Due to the COVID-19, we would like to ask all to please follow the rules for social distancing and face mask, are highly recommended at the service. Also, anyone who does not feel comfortable with attending the services the family would like for you to know they understand and covet your prayers.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday afternoon (March 30, 2021) at 3pm at New Hope Cemetery with Rev. Charles Florey officiating. Visitation will be held 30 minutes prior to the service starting at 2:30pm at the cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Leon Carter, Adam Carter, Richard Crews, Cheyenne Hays, Savannah Hickox, Richard Graham, Ashton Johns, and Richard Chesser.
