Claude Michael Norfleet

Waynesville-Claude Michael Norfleet, 55, of Waynesville passed away Friday afternoon(April 5, 2013) at his residence following an extended illness. Born in Brunswick, GA., his parents are Pearles Ray and Charlotte Virginia Caler Norfleet. He is preceded in death by a brother, Everett Norfleet and a sister, Donna Jean Norfleet. Claude was retired from Ft. Stewart DHR as an accountant and loved fishing and hunting. He also was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his parents, Pearles Ray and Charlotte Virginia Caler Norfleet; 3 brothers, Tony Norfleet of Brunswick, Danny Norfleet of Waynesville, and Raymond Norfleet of Atkinson; 4sisters and a brother-in-law, Linda and Andy Taylor of Brunswick, Winda O'Quinn of Waynesville, Renea Daniels of Waynesville, and Marie Norfleet of Brunswick.; Also several nieces, nephews, and other relatives. A memorial service will be held Tuesday (April 9,2013) at 2:00 Pm at Frye Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Evans and Rev. Horace Godfrey officiating. Memorialization is by cremation.
