Hortense – Claudia Jennifer Ramirez Murphy, 28, of Hortense passed away Thursday (January 11, 2018) in San Francisco, CA after a brief illness.

Born in San Francisco, CA her parents are Alex Ramirez and Angelica Larenzo Ramirez of San Francisco.

Claudia was a registration clerk for Best Western in Brunswick and loved reading and sports.

Survivors include her husband, Chad Murphy, of Hortense; 2 daughters, Melanie Murphy and Madison Murphy, of Hortense; her parents, Alex and Angelica Ramirez, of San Francisco, CA; her brother, Randy, of San Francisco, CA; 2 sisters, Emily Ramirez and Carla of San Francisco, CA; Paternal grandmother, Martha Hernandez; father and mother-in-law, Stephen & Dianna Murphy; 2 sisters-in-law, Shellie Keller and Shannon Ribron; 2 brothers-in-law, Casey Reaves and Cameron Reaves; and also several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Visitation will be held Thursday (January 25, 2018) from 2-3:30PM, at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday (January 25, 2018) at 3:30PM at Frye Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Gill officiating.

Burial will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Chad Murphy, James Carter, Cameron Reaves, Justin Hillard, Anthony Workman, and Travis Collins.

Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
