Crystal Michelle Lewis

Hortense – Crystal Michelle Lewis, 34, of Hortense passed away Friday afternoon (August 27, 2021) at her residence after a brief illness.
Born in Brunswick, GA her parents are James “Jimmy” Gilbert Lewis of Nahunta and Marcia “Cheryl” Rooks Lewis. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Joseph and Martha Rooks; and her paternal grandparents, Jasper and Betty Lewis.
Crystal was a homemaker and a member of Trinity Church of the Nazarene. She loved spending time with her nephew Evan Anderson, crafting and sewing. Crystal also was a big help in raising her foster brother and sister.
Survivors include her parents, James “Jimmy” Gilbert Lewis of Nahunta and Cheryl Rooks Lewis of Hortense; 2 brothers, James Gilbert Lewis, Jr. of Nahunta and Elijah Bagley of Hortense; a sister, Harmoni Bagley of Hortense; great grandparents, Henry & Inee Rooks; 2 special nephews, Cason Bagley and Evan Anderson both of Hortense; a special friend, Mitch Whittington of AL; and also several aunts, uncles, other relatives and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held 30 prior to the service on Tuesday morning (August 31, 2021) starting at 10:30am at Mt. Olive Cemetery.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday morning (August 31, 2021) at 11am at Mt. Olive Cemetery with Rev. Joey Taylor and Rev. Larry Little officiating.
Pallbearers will be Darryl Rooks, Tyler White, Jerry Smith, John Dowler, James Lewis, Jr., Ashton Chesser, Trenton Chorba, & Elijah Bagley.
Due to COVID-19, we would like to ask all to please follow the rules for social distancing, also face mask are highly recommended at the service. Anyone who does not feel comfortable with attending the service the family would like you to know they understand and covet your prayers.
