Daniel Bruce Westberry

Hoboken-Daniel Bruce Westberry, 62, of Hoboken passed away Friday (August 21, 2020) at his residence following a short illness.

Born in Waycross, GA. his parents were Hayden C. and Annie Lou Lee Westberry.

Daniel was retired from Matts Athletic Wear. He loved doing woodwork, anything with his hands, grilling, and spending time with family. And was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Annette “Susie” Westberry of Hoboken; 2 Sons and daughters-in-law, Richard Westberry (Sandra Duncan) and Bruce Westberry (Marie) all of Hoboken; 8 grandchildren, Callie Johns, Ceegee Westberry, Cierra Westberry, Johnny Westberry, Jonathon Westberry, Sean Westberry, Bryan Westberry, and Ashlynn Westberry, all of Hoboken; 2 great grandchildren, Cain Tallevast and Colton Tallevast both of Hoboken, 3 brothers and their wives, Dennis Westberry (Brenda) of Waycross, GA.; David Westberry of Nahunta, GA.; Donald Westberry (Joy) of Waycross, GA. 1 sister and her husband, Laura Ann Crews (Earl) of Waycross, GA. Multiple nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

Due to the COVID-19, the family would like to ask all to please follow the rules for social distancing and face mask are recommended at the service. Also, anyone who does not feel comfortable with attending the services the family would like for you to know they understand and covet your prayers.

Visitation will be held Sunday evening (August 23, 2020) starting at 6PM at Frye Funeral Home Chapel.

A graveside service will be held Monday morning (August 24, 2020) 10 AM at High Bluff Cemetery with Rev. Butch Hickox officiating.

Pallbearers will be Johnny Westberry, Jonathon Westberry, Sean Westberry, Taylor Tallevast, Dylan Horne, Silas Harris, Tyler Duncan, and Baylon Brown. All pallbearers are asked to meet at the cemetery Monday morning by 9:30 AM.
