Danny Barron Norfleet

Danny Barron Norfleet, 57 of Waynesville, passed away Sunday morning (October 30, 2016) at his residence following an extended illness.

Born in Brunswick, Ga. His parents were Pearles Norfleet and Charlotte Caler Norfleet. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Everett Norfleet and Mike Norfleet; one sister, Donna Jean Norfleet.

He worked many years as an electrician, and was of the Christian Faith. He enjoyed fishing, loved the outdoors, and working on his truck.

Survivors include one son, Daniel Norfleet, of St. Marys; one daughter and son-in-law, Ashley Norfleet (Chris Hickman), of Waynesville; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Raymond Norfleet (Joann), of Hortense; Tony Norfleet (Cheryl), of Waynesville; four sisters and a brother-in-law, Renea Daniels, of Waynesville; Maria Gordon, of Waynesville; Winda O’Quinn, of Waynesville; Linda Taylor (Andy) of Brunswick; one grandchild, Kinley Hickman. Also several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Visitation will be held Wednesday afternoon (November 2, 2016) at 1:30PM at Frye Funeral Home.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday afternoon (November 2, 2016) at 2:00PM at the chapel of Frye Funeral Home with Rev. Gene Knox officiating.
