Darrel Kirchenbauer

Darrel Edward Kirchenbauer, 60 of Hortense, passed away Sunday night (March 15, 2015) at Southeast Georgia Health System, in Brunswick. Born in Sparta, NJ., his parents were Charles and Delphine Kirchenbauer. He was also preceded in death by a son, William Booth. Darrel worked many years as a mechanic. He loved fixing cars, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren. Survivors include his wife, Deborah Booth Kirchenbauer, of Hortense; a son, Johnny Bridges (Christine Nickols), of Hortense; a daughter, Lisa Kirchenbauer, of Hortense; 10 grandchildren, Kylie Bridges, Landon Beverly, Olivia Booth, Anthony Booth, Aundrea Rader, Shyanne Bailey, Kayla Bailey, Will Booth, and Cassidy Bridges; a brother, Danny Kirchenbauer, of Jacksonville; and 2 sisters, Donna Jean Brown, and Karen Paffrath, both of Michigan. A memorial service will be held Saturday (March 21, 2015) at 2PM, at his residence. Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, of Nahunta.
