Daryl Joseph Bell

Daryl Joseph Bell, 70, of Raybon died late Wednesday night (September 4, 2013) at the Satilla Hospice House in Waycross after an extended illness. Born in Jacksonville, GA., his parents were Joe and Jeanette "Dowling" Rogers Bell. He is also preceded in death by his brother David Bell. Daryl was of the Baptist faith and retired from Jefferson Smurfit where he worked as a Welder for many years. He always loved working and farming. Survivors include his loving wife Janice Bell of Raybon; 2 Daughters and sons-in-law: Angie Smith (Deck) of Raybon, and Shannon Ilg (Jack) of Nevada; 4 Grandchildren: Damon Smith, Levi Bell, Joshua Lyons (Mandy), and Brigette Lyons all of Raybon; 5 Great Grandchildren: Taylor Smith, Dylan Smith, Meia Lyons, Triston Lyons, and Kleo Norman; a niece: Darlene Lyons of Jacksonville and several other nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Visitation will be held Saturday afternoon (September 7, 2013) from 1:00 - 3:00 PM at Frye Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Saturday afternoon (September 7, 2013) at 3:00 PM at Frye Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wilbur Dean officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Raybon. Pallbearers will be Damon Smith, Joshua Lyons, Levi Bell, Clay Hendrix, Junior Green, and Jimmy Proctor. Honorary pallbearers will be Buddy Lloyd, Joe Shepler, and Larry Crews.
