Daryl Lynn Sims

Hoboken- Daryl Lynn Sims, 52, of Hoboken died Wednesday night (April 27, 2011) at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta after a long battle with cancer. He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana but has resided in Brantley county for many years. Daryl was a carpenter and a avid fisherman and loved being at the river. Also he was a avid animal lover and loved being with his nieces and nephews. Survivors include 2 brothers and their spouses, Jesse & Donna Case of Hoboken and Michael & Valerie McMillan of Hortense; 13 nieces and nephews, Tiffany, Tina, Tabatha, Michael, Zachery, Gage & Kalee McMillan, Jessica Case(Tommy Wilson), Patty, Pasha and Patricia Hicks, Dalton and Kristy Case; 12 great nieces and nephews, Devin, Dillon, Ian, Peyton, Katelyn, & Matthew McMillan, Karlie and Krisalyn Wilson, Andrew Case, Rowdy and Brooklyhn Walker, and Kyler Case; an also several friends and other relatives. A graveside service will be held Tuesday morning (May 3, 2011) at 11AM at Hoboken Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Patrick Hicks, Michael McMillan, Tommy Wilson, Jesse Case, William Underwood, Tom Veague and Dalton Case. Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
