David Allen O'Berry

David Allen O’Berry, 65 of Hortense, passed away Thursday (December 1, 2016) at his residence.

Born in Hortense, GA., his parents were Tom O’Berry and Sara Frances Ake. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Kathryn Johnson O’Berry.

David served in the United States Air Force, and was employed with HVAC for many years as a heating and air technician. He enjoyed gardening, cooking, hot rods, and tinkering on cars.

Survivors include his two daughters and sons-in-law, Nicole McClard (James Morris), of Panama City Beach, FL., and Sarah Kaus (James), of Smyrna, TN.; 3 grandchildren, Nicholas Clark, Thomas McClard, and Elijah Irwin; a brother and sister-in-law, Paul O’Berry (Lisa), of Brunswick; 2 sisters and a brother-in-law, Helen Erwin (Sam), of Atlanta, and Annie Witt, of Temple, TX. Also several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
