David Durrance

Hortense- David Keith Durrance, 56 of Hortense, passed away Wednesday morning (June 9, 2021) at his residence following an extended illness.

Born in Brunswick, GA., his parents were Lewis Jackson Durrance and Martha Anderson Durrance.

David worked many years as a Foreman in the Construction Industry and attended Centerpoint Church. He enjoyed fishing, boat riding, loved history and spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife, Anna Durrance; his son and daughter-in-law, Daniel Durrance (Holly); his grand daughter, Katherine Durrance, all of Hortense; 5 siblings and their spouses, Eugene Carter (Diane), of Raybon, Melissa Leverett (Donnie), of Nahunta, Leon Carter, of Hoboken, Adam Carter (Bambi), of Hickox, and Shannon Walker (Stacey), of Hoboken. Also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday (June 12, 2021) at 2PM at Centerpoint Church in Brunswick with Rev. Jimmy Guffey officiating. Visitation will be held an hour prior to the service, from 1PM-2PM, at the Church.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Moores and his staff, Hospice of the Golden Isles, his wonderful nurses Karon Michelle and Pam Blocker.

Due to COVID-19, we would like to ask all to please follow the rules for social distancing, also face mask are highly recommended at the service. Anyone who does not feel comfortable with attending the service the family would like you to know they understand and covet your prayers.
