Debbie Maxine Henderson

Hortense- Debbie Maxine Smith Henderson, 52, of Hortense died Friday evening (September 9, 2011) at her residence after an brief illness. Born in Jacksonville, FL her parents were Walter and Virginia Lee Smith. She is also preceded in death by a son, Keith Henderson. Debbie was a homemaker and attended the Philadelphia Wesleyan Church. Survivors include her husband, Kim Henderson of Hortense; a daughter and son-in-law, Sherri & Michael Bare of Hortense; 2 brothers, Walter Smith and Jimmy Smith both of Atlanta; a sister, Patricia Daniels of Augusta; and also several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation will be held 6 P.M. Tuesday evening at the Philadelphia Wesleyan Church in Hortense. A funeral service for Debbie will be held Wednesday morning (Sept. 14, 2011) at 11 A.M. at the church with the Rev. R.C. Mathis officiating. Interment will follow in the Hortense Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Homer Woods, Sr., Homer Woods, Jr., Michael Ashley Wood, Jackie O'Berry, Bart Rush, Jamie Fincher, and Logan Hiene.
