Hoboken – Deborah Sue White Chesser, 69, of Hoboken passed away Monday morning (July 25, 2022) at her residence after an extended illness.
Born in Waycross, GA. her parents were James White and Elizabeth Glydewell. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Chesser; 2 sons, James Michael White and Billy Bland; and a brother, Jimmy White.
Deborah was a member of Ivory Palace. She was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family, gardening, feeding the birds, fishing and shopping.
Survivors include her daughter, Christy Drury of Hoboken; 6 grandchildren, Casey Mendoza (Dabid), Kylee Moore, Lauren Moore, Remington Jordan, Brooke White and Alexis White; several great grandchildren; 2 brothers and a sister-in-law, Charles White (Sue) and John White all of Hickox; a sister, Judy Griffin of Hickox. Also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held Wednesday evening (July 27, 2022) from 6PM-8PM at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
A funeral service will be held Thursday afternoon (July 28, 2022) at 3PM at the chapel of Frye Funeral Home with Rev. Phillip Rowell and Mrs. Joyce Ann Long officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Dabid Mendoza, Luke Pittman, Donnie Herrin, Steven Chesser, Ryan Chesser and Charlie Peacock.
Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
