Deborah Gay Steedley

Deborah Lee Steedley, 47, passed unexpectedly from cardiac complications on December 5, 2014. She resided in Waycross with her husband of 16 years, Ralph Steedley and her many pets. She was a hard-working, compassionate individual who endeavored to provide the best quality of life for herself, her children, and her grandchildren. Deborah was a Jacksonville, Florida native; daughter of Patricia Eady, Waycross and James Gay, Jacksonville. She was an accomplished LPN, holding an Associate's in Nursing. Her caring nature ensured that her patient care was always memorable. She is survived by her mother and father; her three children - Joseph Leggett Jr of Waycross, Shawna Satterfield of Marietta, Garrett Johnson of Waycross; her four stepchildren - Marissa McCarty, Alex Steedley, Wade Steedley, and Jasmine Steedley of Waycross; and her 7 grandchildren whom she adored. Arrangements were entrusted to Frye Funeral Home of Nahunta.
