Deborah Rose Crimbchin Paine was born on February 4, 1956, in McKees Rocks, PA. She passed away peacefully at Baptist Medical Center Community Hospice on December 20, 2024, after an extended illness.
After graduating from high school, Debbie earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. Then, furthered her education by earning a degree in Computer Sciences and worked for Digital Equipment Corporation.
Debbie leaves a long list of close friends in Atlanta, GA., where she and her husband Chris began their first 10 of 37 years of marriage.
Debbie lived a life of courage and service always first in line to volunteer at the church, the home school co-op and the community. In 2000 she and Chris served in an orphanage (EBAC) in Haiti for about one year.
Upon return to the states, Debbie worked at Map International, an organization providing medication to third world countries. She taught Medical Assistant training at Job Corp in Brunswick, GA and worked at various nonprofit organizations serving children and teens.
Her greatest privilege was homeschooling and raising their three children.
Debbie is survived by husband Chris and their three sons, Joshua, Matthew and Christopher in Brunswick, GA; her mother, Ock Soon Crimbchin of Cabot, PA, four sisters, two brothers and many nieces and nephews throughout the country.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, February 22, 2025 at 1PM at St. Simon’s Community Church, Brunswick campus, 181 Mall Blvd. Brunswick, GA., 31525.
