Debra Sutton Stewart

Waynesville- Debra Sutton Stewart, 72 of Waynesville, passed away Sunday (January 8, 2023) at Southeast Georgia Health System in Brunswick following an extended illness.

Born in Barberton, OH., her parents were Robert Sutton and Marceline Sutton. She was also preceded in death by two children, Robert Joseph Stewart and Connie Lynn Heath; and two brothers Todd Sutton and Gary Sutton.

Debra worked many years as an Insurance Clerk for Dr. Saleeby and was a member of Waynesville Missionary Baptist Church. She loved crocheting, gardening and taking care of her family.

Survivors include her husband, Glenn Stewart, of Waynesville; 2 grandchildren, Darrin Stewart and Maranda Heath; one great grandchild, Landon Lane Lake; and one brother, Brian Sutton, of Daytona Beach, FL. Also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday (January 14, 2023) at 11AM at Waynesville Missionary Baptist Church. Visitation will be held an hour prior to the service.

Burial will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Justin Phillips, Hunter Phillips, Matt Phillips, David Fredrickson, Trey Scott, Mick Vickers, and Ronnie Phillips.
