Delores Lee Lee, 69, of Hoboken died Monday afternoon (October 25, 2010) at Hospice of the Golden Isles in Brunswick after an extended illness. Born in Brantley Co. her parents were John Isaac and Eula Mae Herrin Lee. She is also preceded in death by a son, Byron C. Lee. After retiring as a medical records clerk for Satilla Regional Medical Center, Delores was a homemaker. She also attended High Bluff Primitive Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Jimmy Lee of Hoboken; 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Wade & Rhonda Lee of Hortense and Keith & Karen Lee of Gulf Port, Miss; 2 daughters and a son-in-law, Marlene Lee Stone and Sara & Phillip Chancey all of Hoboken; 5 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 3 brothers and sisters-in-law, Everett & Carolyn Lee of Hickox, Edward Lee of Hortense and Glen & Paula Lee of Hickox; 2 sisters and brothers-in-law, Marilyn & Phil Purdom of Raybon and Myra & Brian Little of Hickox; and also several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation will be held Wednesday evening (October 27, 2010) starting at 6 PM at her residence, 1915 Mt. Calvary Rd, Hoboken. A funeral service will be held Thursday afternoon (October 28, 2010) at 2 PM at Highbluff Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Daniel Drawdy officiating. Burial will follow in the Highbluff Cemetery. Pallbearers are Roger Crews, Bruce Wainright, Troy Wainright, Byron, Sidney and Greg Lee. Honorary are all her nephews. In lieu of flowers donation can be sent to Hospice of the Golden Isles, 1692 Glynco PkWy, Brunswick, GA 31525 and Southeast Cancer Unit Inc., 401 Pendleton St., Waycross, GA 31501.
