Hoboken- Mr. Devin Edward Lane,17, of Hoboken died Thursday morning (Mar. 31, 2011) in Memorial Medical Center in Savannah, Georgia after a sudden illness. Born in Brunswick, Georgia he was the son of the late Sherry Lynn Lane. A student at The Brantley County High School, Devin enjoyed working on cars and tractors, hunting and fishing and spending time with his girlfriend Chelese Roberson. Preceded in death by his mother, also his maternal-grandmother Carrie Mae Dubose. He is survived by 2-Aunts & their spouse, Lesley and Belton Hanchey, of Hoboken, Phyllis Lane, of Nahunta, 2-Uncles & their spouse, Weldon and Teresa Lane, of Blackshear and James and Amber Lane, of Brunswick, his cousins, Weldon Lane, Jr., Ryan Lane , Jared Lane, Carrie Walker, Kyler Walker, Caylie Hanchey, Jimmy Lane, Crissy Thomas and Alexis Lane, and several other relatives. Visitation will be Sunday evening starting at 6 P.M. at The Frye Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held Monday afternoon ( Apr. 4, 2011) at 3 P.M. from the Chapel of The Frye Funeral Home in Nahunta with his Cousins officiating. Burial will follow in The Hoboken City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Cole Lee, Roger Hartley, Kyler Harris, Ryan Lane, Ladale Hanchey, Jeffery Dreggors, Kyle Crews, and Cody Nixon.
