Donald "Bozo" Leon Pierce

Nahunta – Donald “Bozo” Leon Pierce, 62, of Nahunta passed away Saturday (April 16, 2022) at his residence after an extended illness.
Born in Albany, GA, his parents are Jessie Higgs Pierce and the late Virgil Pierce. He is also preceded in death by a daughter, Mandy Pierce; special nephews, Harold Pierce and Patrick Pierce; his grandparents, Henry & Viola Higgs and Cecil & Rosalie Pierce.
Donald was an auctioneer for D & D Auctions, owner of D & D Landscaping on St. Simons Island and a member of Pleasant Valley Church. He loved his family and fishing.
Survivors include his daughter, Jessica Sweat of Waycross; 4 grandchildren, Trey Pierce, Tyler Pierce, Katie Pierce & Mara Sweat; many great grandchildren; his mother Jessie Higgs Pierce of Waycross; a brother, Mark Pierce of Waycross; special nephews, Dereck Threatt of Douglas and Chandler Pierce of Waycross; a special friend, Denise Hatcher Pierce of Folkston; and also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday (April 22, 2022) at 2PM at Frye Funeral Home with Rev. Ed Hurst officiating. Visitation will be held thirty minutes prior to the service.
